ICF is a construction method that uses hollow foam blocks, similar to large LEGOs, that are stacked and interlocked to form the exterior walls of a building. Steel rebar is then inserted into the foam blocks, and concrete is poured into the hollow interior, creating a monolithic, reinforced concrete wall that is continuously insulated by the permanent foam forms.
